
Born in Sacramento, California, Boyer began playing rugby in middle school after being introduced to the sport by his father. He developed through Jesuit High School before continuing his career at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned Collegiate All-American honors and represented the United States at the U20 level.
He built his professional career across multiple Major League Rugby clubs, including the San Diego Legion, Colorado Raptors, LA Giltinis, and Houston SaberCats. He established himself as one of the most experienced players in the league, earning consistent selections and building a strong track record as a versatile back.
He joined the Seattle Seawolves in 2025 and made an immediate impact, earning a starting role and contributing key performances. He has surpassed 80 career MLR appearances and continues to bring experience and versatility to the Seawolves backline.
Boyer has represented the USA Eagles at the international level and comes from a strong rugby family background. Outside of rugby, he works in finance and enjoys surfing and playing guitar.
